“A good boy like you deserves a treat.” A thin smile forms on Soren’s lips.

Alric steps forward and collapses upon his knees. His eyes widen as he gazes up at the gold talisman in Soren’s hands, the heavy sapphire in the center shimmering seductively. The incubus closes his eyes, channeling some sort of dark energy into the artifact.

Heart pounding, Alric watches as a vile monstrosity is released from the relic. This is his reward…his reward for committing perverse, wicked acts in his master’s name.
